Freshers' Night Sun 5th Oct 08 MMUnion 5.00pm to 9.00pm

สวัสดี พี่ๆ น้องๆ นักเรียนไทยในแมนเชสเตอร์  และผู้เกี่ยวข้องทุกท่าน

                ก่อนอื่นขอยินดีต้อนรับน้อง(หรือพี่) ใหม่ทุกคนที่ได้เข้ามาเรียนใน มหาลัยทั้งสามของ แมนเชสเตอร์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) และSalford University รวมทั้งนักเรียนที่มาเรียนในโรงเรียนภาษาทุกๆที่ อีกทั้งขอต้อนรับกลับมาสู่ปีการศึกษาใหม่ของพี่ๆน้องๆนักเรียนเก่าทุกคนนะครับ

เนื่องด้วยทุกปี เราจะจัดกิจกรรม เพื่อทำการต้อนรับพี่น้องที่เข้ามาเรียนใหม่ และให้ นักเรียนเก่าได้รู้จักหน้าค่าตา พร้อมทั้งให้คำแนะนำดีๆ กับนักเรียนใหม่ทุกคน

ปีนี้ก็เช่นกัน พวกเรา จะมี Fresher Night ขึ้นใน วันอาทิตย์ ที่ 5 ตุลาคม 2008 โดยปีนี้งานจะจัดขึ้นที่ MMU Union ชั้น 3 ณ ห้อง conference room 1&2 ถ้าใครไม่ทราบว่าอยู่ที่ไหนเรามีแผนที่ให้ดู ข้างล่างนะครับ

ลักษณะของงานก็จะไม่ต่างจากปีที่ผ่านมามากนัก โดย เราจะร่วมกันรับประทานอาหารที่ พวกเรานำมากัน และก็จะมีกิจกรรมเล็กๆน้อยๆ ให้ร่วมสนุก เพิ่มความสามัคคีระหว่างนักเรียนไทย และผู้ร่วมงานทุกคน (ไม่ต้องห่วงว่าจะเป็นรับน้องโหดๆนะจ้ะ)

สิ่งที่ต้องนำมาร่วมงานก็ไม่มีอะไรมาก แค่อาหารซักจาน กับตัวและหัวใจ นะครับ...ส่วนขนมขบเคี้ยว เครืองดื่ม และ อุปกรณ์ในการทาน พวกเราทีมงานจะเตรียมไปให้เต็มที่ (ไม่รวม alcohol stuff นะจ้ะ...แต่ถ้าอยากเตรียมไปกันเองก็ไม่ว่ากัน)

งานจะเริ่มเวลา 17.30 น. เรายินดีต้อนรับทุกคนที่สนใจ ฉะนั้น ถ้า เพื่อนๆพี่ๆน้องๆ จะพา คนรู้จักหรือ ครอบครัวมาพวกเราก็ยินดีอย่างยิ่งนะครับ ยังงัยก็ช่วยชวนๆกันมา ยิ่งมากันมากเท่าไหร่ งานก็ยิ่งจะสนุกขึ้นเท่านั้น และก็ขอความร่วมมือ จากทุกคนช่วยแจ้งข่าวนี้ไปยังนักเรียนใหม่ ทุกคนให้รับทราบนะฮะ เพราะ บางที ทางทีมงานอาจตกหล่น ไม่สามารถรู้ หรือแจ้งข่าวให้กับเค้า ได้รับทราบ

และขอความกรุณาแจ้งความจำนงค์เพื่อเข้าร่วมงานผ่านทีมงาน เพื่อพวกเราจะได้เตรียม ขนมและเครื่องดื่มให้พอเพียงกับผู้รวมงานทุกๆคนนะฮะ

Dear beloved Thai Society’s members,

Welcome (back) to universities, and as a welcoming to those new students and interested groups, getting everyone familiarized with the cultures as well as making friends.

To cut the long story short, as a starter for the academic year 2008/09, there will be a ‘Freshers night’ on Sunday the 5th of October 2008 at the MMU student union on the 3rd Floor, conference room 1 and 2.

The activities will be similar with the previous years; those are having dinner (everybody brings) together, chitchat, and some games that would make everyone getting know each other more. The event kicks off at 17.30, so please don’t be late, the food would be ran out!

What you need to prepare for this is just yourself and making ready for fun! And also don’t forget to bring some food in your style for sharing with your friends, ANY KIND at all, we do not mind. We will have dinner together,  should you be kind enough to share some as the TSM committees will arrange you the utensils, beverages and some snacks.
